SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 19, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) — StubHub, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, is deepening its east coast presence with the expansion of its newly remodeled East Granby, CT office. Renovations to the facility will increase StubHub’s footprint in the state and provide additional job opportunities in the area.
The company, which recently hired 30 new full-time employees in East Granby, currently has 25+ openings in customer support, including Customer Support Supervisor roles. StubHub will mark the expansion of the facility with a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony on October 19, 2011.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lenovo (SEHK: 0992) (PINK SHEETS: LNVGY) announced today that it has signed a contract with Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), a Xerox Company, as part of an initiative to expand its Global Services business. The agreement will create approximately 300 new jobs in the Triangle region of N.C.- 50 of those with Lenovo and 250 with ACS.
During a news conference attended by North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, Lenovo announced the new jobs at its campus in Morrisville, N.C. to help meet the growing needs of its customers, both locally and worldwide.
Through its industry-leading customer services, ACS will support Lenovo customers in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand via telephone, e-mail and web chat. ACS will handle customer inquiries, providing technical support, service order management, coordination of service and parts dispatches and customer escalations. ACS and Xerox employ 3,600 people in North Carolina, including approximately 2,300 people in the greater Raleigh area.
The agreement comes on the heels of Lenovo’s proven business momentum. The company has outpaced the overall PC market for eight consecutive quarters, making it the fastest-growing major PC company for the past six quarters in a row1.
In addition to the 300 jobs announced today, Lenovo’s Global Services team is also adding an additional 100 new positions in multiple locations around the world in cities including Bratislava, Beijing and Bangalore.
