Supervalu Inc. plans to eliminate about 800 corporate and regional office jobs by Feb. 25 as the supermarket operator continues its efforts to reduce overall operating cost.

Supervalu, brands include Albertsons, Acme, Save-A-Lot and Shaw’s.
