Google CEO Sundar Pichai introduced Google for Jobs at the company’s annual I/O conference. Google for Jobs will recognize when a job search query is entered into Google Search and will return a set of open jobs that match the query.
“Google will find jobs by accessing job boards and staffing agencies and through partnerships with established employment-information resources such as Monster, LinkedIn, Facebook, CareerBuilder and Glassdoor. Pichai noted that Google has been piloting Google for Jobs with FedEx and Johnson & Johnson and the companies have seen an 18% increase in the number of applicants since they began the pilot program.”
